So much for road safety!
I honestly didn't know whether to laugh or feel sad of how low safety is in our be loved country. Couple of days ago I was on the high way with my sister Dodo to go pick up Meral; and we drove by couple of big tanta "trucks" and god knows what's piled up on em, mafhamtish whether it's what was remaining of a destroyed building or crap for recycle! anywayz, bottom line the way of transporting it was not safe at all!!! metal wires were hanging from the side of the big truck and it was only covered with a piece of green cloth "see through cloth"; I was surprised why my sister was screaming..lol did I get used to seeing such things, I mean I notice that it's not safe but that's the way they handle it!!! But what really made me go WTF is the below pics! one truck in da front of another of this funky looking truck....the funny looking truck was eating up the road and spitting it at da other truck....BOTH OF THEM WERE MOVING and cars passing through da gap...lol Ayosh and myself took the below pics on our way to da gym!!!

lol....dameer abla 7ekmat! well well this is libya and nothing surpises me anymore! I thought when u 'd start going o the gym u would forget alittle about blogging!! :P
I am not surprised your sister was screaming!
for me after living so many years in London, I was very shocked at safety conditions in Egypt, Tunisia & Malta when I went there for a visit and I am sure they have better standards than Libya.
Allah ya7fadkum
Safety? what does that mean? i doubt libyans have that in their dictionary as this is a small thing compared to others..... as they say "libya taatee bilgadeed"..... anyway atleast we got to see a new post from our new Miss Bakheela :P - BTW u need a membership for the bukhalaa club - :P
Fe aman Allah
Lost-Libyan; gym was ok, laken nothing will make me forget about blogging ..lol
Anglo-Libyan; rabe u7fud eljamee3 wallahi, too many road problems
Ahmed; ama bukhel elli tetkalim 3leeh? how did I come across bakhila???..lol
That machine acts as a peeler (geshara) for the old surface of the tarmac, used to resurface the road, but they should close one lane with signs and leave the other lanes open for the traffic pass by but Libyan drivers wont have this kind of traffic signs they just ignore it all together and try to fly over the truck, anyway “jet saleema”, anyone want to use Tripoli roads needs to sign his/her will first and say ya “sater” before moving on.
Salam DaMoon,
That is crazy for sure. It reminds me of some of the things I've seen driving through Mexico. One can't help but spend most the time with their eyes wide up and their jaws hanging down to their chin in just the craziness of it all.
hehehehe salam sis Damoon what a welcome note!! LOLOLOL... as much as it makes me go WTF too, i still have a guilty pleasure from seeing the inventive dangerous ways Libyans show theyr disregard for safety (or rules in general).
Take care of urself and dodo.. are gym's a good option here?
Weldemdina; thank you for the info :o) we learn something everyday :) and yes the way you described it looks alot safer to me! but go figure eh!

and there is this one I started going to called AlTubb Alreyadi, by ereyadiya, I am not very impressed, I liked elfituri better, they have more equipments...and if u want to pay da big bucks u can join the corinthia gym
Salam Damoon sis Thank you for the info.. Im still technically a students..i.e. BROKE.. big bucks?? lolol.. I dont think so.. forget it then.. where do they sell benchbars and dumbells?? LOLOL

I missed you so very much.
Wedding preperations are at the peak no? Too bad I'm not there with you guys :o(
Drive carefully sister...
Ya saater ester..that's what I was thinking when I was with you on the highway that day... That trip was insanely dangerous, tlool projecting out of the truck's back!!! the driver was speeding!!! other cars were passing one another...and worse yet most people just don't seem to grasp the road lanes concept!!!
I was absolutely terrified and completely freaked out.
We were going to pick my neice Meral up from MaySoon's in law's house..there was no way on earth we were going to take the highway back home! so we took treeg grgaresh back.
I tell you... absolutely frightenning!
Rabbi yo7fud eljamee3.
-Dodo
Keep up the good work.
