Da highlight of moi weekend!

Update time everyone!!!
well, I had an ok weekend, nothing too special, but what I am about to share with you was the highlight of my weekend.
I've been wanting to take my car to car wash station we call it here in Libya "lavadjo"...lol not sure if I spelled it right nor about the orgins of da word, I am thinking "Italian" as almost everything else in da Libyan slang....so anywayz, I had no one to pick me up, my cuz had to go to school, my friend Ayosh was out and about not in my area! so I decided to hang out at da lavadjo......trust me it was very inspiring and made me appreciate what I do in life; I also enjoyed watching different people and what their habits are like.
so this place is run by a Libyan of course and he had maybe 5 Africans working for him from what I saw one assigned for each job, vacuuming, cleaning the interior, washing da car from da outside, and da last touches to make it shiny....so yah, my African friends were having fun listening to Africano music and singing along, I thought it was hilarious...lol so I took few pics to share with you...

getting ready for a cleanup

getting the tape to my car for Africano Music...lol

Da office, you can see da Libyan dude hanging out

I admit, da place was in a very bad shape!!!

My khnifisa is getting good scrubbing

LOL poor you Sis you should've asked mom to pick you up.. she had my car yesterday! But it's okay since u had fun watching the Africans do the job :o)..lol

Ahmed I don't know for some reason I say lavadjo too?! with "V"? my husband keeps correcting me but I don't seem to get it straight!
However since Abu Walid left my quick "lawadjo" is the Africans gedam zarqa elyamama..lol I find it convenient that I go shopping while they're cleaning my car! I ask hubby to take it to the REAL thing once a month! not enough when having a kid in the car every day, eating biscuits, chocolates, crackers, nuts, and drinking juice… that makes it WAY messy.. hey let's start a competition "how messy is your car?!!" I WILL WIN :op

well, its orignally with a "V" not "W" I suppose its of Italin origin, bu we libyan tend to pronounce stuff the way we like , to make more libyan in a way :P for example : we say DAW NEEBRA!! lol

Salm DaMoon,

LOL@the Africans properly preparing your car for washing by installing their tape first.

What a perfect afternoon of watching people---my favorite.

Maysoon, I think we might tie for the dirty car because Amira does a pretty good job tearing it up in the backseat. :-)
