Jraba Street...So Long!
I heard so many stories about Jraba Street after da final decision of taking da stores down....and I have mixed views about it, but all I am going to say is, DON'T GO NEAR IT, traffic is so unbelievable, you would think that they will have it under control, but no no no god forbids anything being under control in situations like this!!! anyhoo, I couldn't take more pics, I was just crossing from one side to da other to go to my grandma's yesterday eve, so here is 1% of Jraba Street.

Although i feel for the people who use to live off the shops but between me and myself i am SO HAPPY that they have torn it down as it caused so much traffic and noise and i dont think it was a suitable street for the number of shops it had

althaugh i live abroad, but i feel emotianly attatched to this street, i am feeling really about it.

Well.. I have mixed feelings about it.. I feel sad for the ppl who lost their shops.. but I am thinking also.. maybe for a better Tripoli you know! U hear ppl complaining about how it's always crowded and how small the streets are for the number of cars driving around Tripoli.. well I say .. sit back relax and watch.. hope something good comes out of all this!

سواء زحمه او مش زحمه هي شوارعنا بالهون
جرابه ولا بن عاشور ولا النوفليين ولا الدهماني ولا حتي قرقارش
كلهم في حالة زحمه و الطرق في حاله
الناس هابلين علي السيلات والحوايج
ومن الساعة 9 الصبح تلقي النساوين غادي لا يهمهم هدم ولا شرطة ولا اي شيء
صدقت لندا وقت قالتلي اني واجعين الي مأجرين المحلات
لان صاحب المحل دافع ايجار سنة كاملة ومرات ايجار الشهر الواحد من 500 دينار ومافوق فشوفوا خسارتهم...!
ومن نناحية ثانية مرت نقول يستاهلوا حتي هما طغوا وفسدوا البلاد ببضاعتهم واسعارهم وفسدوا حتي البنات الي يقروا هديكا الجيهة

Nice to have opened this subject...
From my point of view, it's better to demolish everything that has been built wrongly, and then, re-built with a professionaly way.
Some “Sabr!” and Libya will be a paradise... :
